Diretamente da Finlândia, a banda de gothic metal The Rasmus, originária de Helsinque e liderada por Lauri Ylönen, decidiu retornar ao México. Sua primeira visita ao país foi em 2004, durante a promoção de um de seus primeiros álbuns. Desde então, a banda desenvolveu um carinho especial pelo México, retornando em diversas ocasiões, tanto para apresentações solo quanto para festivais.A última vez que o The Rasmus esteve no México foi em 2023 com a turnê “Live and Never Die”, apresentando-se em um dos locais mais icônicos do país: o Pepsi Center. A banda não parou de trabalhar e agora está pronta para uma nova turnê no México, intitulada “Weirdo Tour”, nome que faz referência ao seu álbum mais recente, lançado em setembro. Durante o lançamento do álbum, Lauri Ylönen e Emilia “Emppu” Suhonen visitaram o país para se preparar para a apresentação. Eles também realizaram um meet & greet, concederam entrevistas para a televisão e aproveitaram para fazer uma pequena pausa, o que só aumentou a vontade de retornarem como banda.Chegou a hora: em dezembro de 2025, The Rasmus fará três grandes shows importantes no México, passando por Monterrey, Jalisco e culminando em um grande final na Cidade do México, no Velódromo Olímpico.
