Fuzz Sagrado (traduzido como “Fuzz Sagrado”) é o novo projeto de Chris Peters, do Samsara Blues Experiment.
Após a dissolução da SBE em 2020, Peters emigrou para o Brasil em 2021. Relutante em se aposentar da cena musical, ele decidiu começar “do zero” em vez de continuar lançando discos sob o nome Samsara Blues Experiment. Depois de lançar alguns trabalhos sob o nome Surya Kris Peters, ele fundou o Fuzz Sagrado como uma “banda de um homem só” em seu estúdio e lançou os álbuns A New Dimension (2022) e Luz e Sombra (2023), além de três EPs, muitos deles instrumentais.
Em 2024, Ghilherme Bordin (baixo) e Lucas Fursy (bateria) uniram-se a Peters e formaram um trio, o que finalmente permitiu ao projeto tocar ao vivo. O Sacred Fuzz fará sua primeira turnê pela Europa neste ano de 2026.
O som do Fuzz Sagrado lembra obviamente o ouvinte do SBE, mas na verdade de uma forma diferente. Rock psicadélico do deserto ao estilo das Desert Sessions e Yawning Man, Krautrock mas com muitas camadas, pesado mas relaxante. Familiar, mas ao mesmo tempo novo e extremamente refrescante. Atmosferas diferentes com muitas origens: rock clássico dos anos 80, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Hendrix. Muitos instrumentos e sons adicionais enriquecem as ondas do Fuzz Sagrado: de cítaras a sintetizadores no estilo Kraftwerk, os lançamentos incluem faixas instrumentais, canções com vocais apaixonados e letras reveladoras, bem como canções acústicas. É possível sentir o quão pessoal e libertador se tornou o processo criativo de Peters e o quão honesto é este projeto.
Atualmente um quarteto, a nova formação é composta por Peters, Steffen Schneider (Spaceship Landing), Charlie Paschen (Coogans Bluff) e Raphael Nigbur (Blackbox Massacre). Uma das bandas a não perder no primeiro dia do Desertfest Berlin 2026.

Fuzz Sagrado on DesertFest Berlin 2026, 14th May
Fuzz Sagrado (translated as “Sacred Fuzz”) is the new project of Chris Peters from Samsara Blues Experiment.
After SBE dissolved in 2020, Peters emigrated to Brazil in 2021. Reluctant to retire from the music arena, he decided to start “from scratch” instead of keeping releasing records under Samsara Blues Experiment. After releasing some works under the name Surya Kris Peters, he started Fuzz Sagrado as a “one man band” from his studio and released the albums A New Dimension (2022) and Luz e Sombra (2023), and three EPs, many of them instrumental.
In 2024 Ghilherme Bordin (Bass) and Lucas Fursy (drums) joined efforts with Peters and became a trio, which finally allows the project to play live. Sacred Fuzz will tour Europe for the first time this year 2026.
The sound of Fuzz Sagrado obviously reminds the listener of SBE, but actually in a different way. Psychedelic Desert Rock in the style of the Desert Sessions and Yawning Man, Krautrock but with many layers, heavy but chill. Familiar but at the same time, new and extremely refreshing. Different atmospheres with many origins: 80’s classic rock, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Hendrix. A lot of additional instruments and sounds enrich the waves of Fuzz Sagrado: from sitars to Kraftwerk-style synths, the releases include instrumental tracks, songs with passionate vocals and revealing lyrics and acoustic songs as well. One can feel how personal and liberating Peters’ creative process has become, and how honest this project is.
Currently a quartet, the new line-up is made up of Peters, Steffen Schneider (Spaceship Landing), Charlie Paschen (Coogans Bluff), and Raphael Nigbur (Blackbox Massacre). One of the bands not to be missed on the first day of Desertfest Berlin 2026.
