Kublai Khan TX é uma banda de metalcore formada em Sherman, Texas, em 2009. Eles lançaram dois EPs e quatro álbuns, sendo seu último trabalho o EP Lowest Form of Animal (2022) e o single Theory of Mind, lançado em abril de 2023. Em 2019, a banda se tornou internacionalmente reconhecida na cena após o lançamento do quarto álbum completo Absolute.
Eles foram comparados a bandas de metalcore do início dos anos 1990, como Earth Crisis ou All Out War. Suas letras frequentemente abordam questões sociais como saúde mental, violência contra mulheres, brutalidade policial, racismo ou direitos humanos. A voz evocativa e rouca de Matt, cheia de emoção e raiva, os riffs em afinação baixa, as linhas de baixo pulsantes e a precisão calculada da bateria conferem à banda um som poderoso e uma característica pesadez que se destaca por suas mudanças de estilo e quebras.
O concerto ocorrerá no Huxleys Neue Welt, em Berlim.

Kublai Khan TX will be one of the opening bands for Lionheart‘s first concert of their European Tour 2024, along Suicide Silence and Paleface Swiss.
Kublai Khan TX is a metalcore band formed in Sherman, Texas in 2009. They have released two EPs and four albums, being their last work the EP Lowest Form of Animal (2022) and the single Theory of Mind, released in April 2023. In 2019, the band became internationally recognized in the scene after the release of their fourth full-length album Absolute.
They have been compared to metalcore bands of the early 1990s like Earth Crisis or All Out War. Their lyrics often address social issues such as mental health, violence against women, police brutality, racism or human rights. Matt’s evocative and raspy voice full of emotion and anger, the low-tuned riffs, pulsing bass lines and the calculated precission of the drums confere the band a powerful sound and characteristic heaviness that stands out for their style switches and breakdowns.
The concert will take place at Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin.
